48 Hours Survival Course for Family

This thrilling, adventure packed and intense 48 hour survival camp, will teach all participants the survival skills to live in the jungle. The first 8 hours will be dedicated to teach all participants the basic survival skills like finding food and water in the jungle, making a shelter, lighting a fire for safety and cooking with improvised means. The next 40 hours, you will live off the land with limited water, food and a few survival tools. Under the expert guidance of our Indian Army Special Forces Commandos and Indian Navy’s Marine Commandos (MARCOS) you will acquire various life saving skills and confidence to navigate your way to a designated area, find or make a shelter and spend two nights in the Jungle. This course is for all adults, who can take this journey with their friends and family. All safety precautions are taken for the security and well being of adventure enthusiasts.. This course is an ideal start to take on longer and more adventure packed survival courses.

  • All our courses are conducted in the Jungles of Bandhavgarh in MP.
  • On successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate.
  • Each batch is limited to 10 persons.
  • Course Fee: ₹ 14450/$ 440 per person
  • Cost of the course is inclusive of all meals, survival kit (on loan) and accommodation during the course. There is no other extra cost.

Event: Documentation and billing followed by freshening up and breakfast, Collection backpack and dry rations initial briefing

10:00AM to 10:45AM

Event: Drive from Tala to Bagdara (JSA launch Point)
Remarks: Intro to Bandhavgarh national park

10:45AM to 11:30AM

Location: JSA Base Baghdara

Event: Detailed briefing of the programme, jungle safety and hygiene, Issue of survival equipment, Pack up for the next location

12:00PM to 03:00PM

Event:

  • Move through the jungle to Point Maidan, (3 km)
  • Make improvised Safety tool
  • Learn movement in jungle, read animal signs, observe nature and learn from it
  • Learn foraging for food and water in jungle and how to make fire. Pack lunch

03:00PM to 04:30PM

Event:

  • Move through jungle to High Machaan, enroute forage food from jungle
  • Learn about navigation by day

Event: Set up camp on Machaan light fire and set up security

Event: Cook dinner in the jungle and learn about navigation at night by using stars

Inclusions 

The above includes pick and drop from Umariya Railway Station, Daytime use of Bandhavgarh 365 rooms and messing on arrival and departure, all meals and transportation, training equipment other than personal clothing and shoes (which Travelers must bring along). The training equipment includes things like pup tents, sleeping bag, knife, GPS, hand held radio sets, emergency provisions etc, which are provided by us for use for the duration of the course.
